Finding green coffee in small amounts is a monumental effort as a home roaster. We know because we started out that way! Sure, you could try to buy from a broker or directly from a farm, but the minimum amounts are staggering and it drives up the cost. Why not let us do that part and you can buy from us? We have on hand up to 10 origins at any given time that can be roasted a variety of ways. We source our green coffee from all over the world and strive to bring in exotic coffees from smaller farms. Did you know that not all coffee can be roasted to all roast levels (Light, Medium, Dark, etc.)? Coffee roasting is a skill that requires knowledge of the bean you are working with. It is important to know if it is Arabica or Robusta, where it is grown, altitude, soil composition and processing. Armed with this information, you can make the best choice for the roast level.
